Every German citizen should have the right to vote in national elections, even those under the age of 18, says a group of parliamentarians. They've proposed a law that would allow parents to vote for their children.

I don't know how this sounds to you, but to me that sounds really absurd. I respect my parents, but I don't have the same opinions as them, so I don't think it is fair that they vote in my place. Having the right to vote at the age of 18 is pretty reasonable, I should say. By that age, a person is supposed to be mature enough to make a sensible choice.
